World Kidney Day is a global health awareness campaign which focuses on the importance of our kidneys. The aim of World Kidney Day is to raise awareness about preventive behaviours, to be aware about risk factors of especially chronic kidney disease and how to live with a kidney disease. The theme for World Kidney Day 2020 is ‘Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere – from Prevention to Detection and Equitable Access to Care’.
