Retrospective entry
World Cancer Day falls on 4th February every year. The main aim of World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer and is an opportunity to rally the international community to end the injustice of preventable suffering from cancer. Multiple initiatives are carried out on World Cancer Day to show support to those affected by cancer. On this day, activists target misinformation, raise awareness and reduce stigma associated with cancer and cancer patients.
