COVID 19

As of 13:20 hours 26th March 2020, there has been 471,487 COVID 19 cases worldwide with 21,297 lives lost. 114,696 people have recovered.

It has been described as a tragedy, with serious impact on the global economy. Almost all industries are affected. Tourism and travel-related industries like aviation are amongst the hardest hit. Potential losses are expected to be within the range of billions of dollars.

At the same time, there are few hundred thousands of patients down with COVID 19 who need to be treated and concurrently, health authorities are trying to prevent new cases by ‘flattening the curve‘.

How long will ‘social distancing’ last? Will COVID 19 ever go away? When will the economy recover?

There is no answer at this moment. But know that this pandemic will end eventually, just when.
